Key requirements
- Digital minimum
- At least 600 pixels wide and 750 pixels high
- Digital file
- JPEG, 50 KB to 10 MB
- Printed size
- 35 mm wide × 45 mm high
- Background
- Plain, light-coloured, and free of shadows or objects
Digital editing restrictions
UK guidance requires the photo to be unedited and says not to correct it with computer software.
Use the official online application instructions for digital photos. If MyIDPhoto changes the background or otherwise edits the image, do not assume that the result will be accepted.
